I have been living here since 2015, and I can confidently say that the past year has been the best. The courtyard is free of trash, I can walk around safely, the laundry room is consistently clean, and the new cameras installed on the property add an extra layer of security. Jenny has addressed every issue in my apartment, and even though I was initially hesitant to move, she and Alfonso have truly made it feel like home again. Don't let outdated reviews deter you from this hidden gem.

We are very happy with they way things are going have nothing but great things to say about our experience even thru the difficult times. I can't and won't speak anyone elses experince with this apartment building, but as for myself I can't complain with being a resident here I have not had any bad exsperinces with or in my apartment. If there were anything that needed attention it was tended to, maybe not right away but it was tended to, althought I have not had many issues in my apartment since I have been here. I may not like having to go up and down the stairs because I have bad knees and recently had a knee replacement, but I like my apartment. As for the new managers on site they are great I have no problem with them at all. They have shown me noyhing but respect and I have done the same. Jenny McDonald as a manager has come here on a mission to better the apartment building like she has spoke on and I have noticed her doing exactly what she said she came to do. So I can see her action is speaking as loud if not louder than her words.

My move in experience was pleasant thanks to Tim the on site manager. My unit was freshly cleaned & painted with new fixtures. The complex is nice & quiet. I haven’t had any issues with my neighbors or anything. I have a huge patio & a huge living room. The manager made sure I was moved in quickly with no hassles. He has been so helpful with my move in process and any questions or concerns I’ve had since I moved in which is such a blessing because my last complex’s manager was practically never there. So far so good with Amber Grove

First off Ashley is amazing!! I have a special-needs child who needs certain accommodations, and Ashley went above and Beyond to make sure that everything I needed would be available in the unit before I moved in. Anytime I have asked for a maintenance request. Lonnie comes to the rescue in a timely manner. I had an issue with my light fixture that Could have led to complications with my daughter, Lonnie came over so quickly to help fix the problem. I was so grateful being that I am a single mom and I am only at home certain hours of the day he came after the office hours of operation; I felt like such a priority. when I moved in, they were remodeling the pool area. The pool is so nice. The water is so clean and clear and blue. I love it here!!!

We where in such need of an apartment with a new baby arriving any day now and Ashley not only cared but delivered on her word to us that she would have a unit for us before our baby arrived and she sure delivered 😊 my family and I will forever be greatful for the best landlord that we have ever had!! Me and my fiancé were in a situation where we needed to move out of the place we were and were apartment hunting and came across amber grove unfortunately at the time there was no units available and we were sad because we loved the apartment, then a few days passed and ashley called me saying there was a apartment available and we were so excited!! Ashley made it possible and helped us out as much as she could! This is our first apartment so we didn’t really know how things worked! ashley is a busy woman and has a lot of things on her plate and managed to help us out along the way!

I have seen another review saying something similar about the Manager .. Ashley Is AMAZING !! Any time I have an issue I go straight to her & it gets resolved in a timely manner. The apartments are older & could use some modernization but no real complaints. I have a large patio , 2 sliding glass doors!! My only negative would be the parking lot there isn’t enough parking but i love my unit I love the management & even the maintenance men are friendly & helpful !! 4 Stars for Amber Grove 💙

We lost our mailbox key and the manager put in a work order and within 1 day the maintenance man put a new lock on our mailbox and gave us a new key. This is the fastest help I have ever received from an Apartment Complex, keep up the good work.

I love that the apartment it is a corner apartment so I have 2 balconies and my neighbors are nice and welcoming, the only negative issue I have is the carpet is extremely stained and it looks like alot of things were painted over to try to cover up, too many to mention, then not serious stuff like both patios were trashy and obviously not cleaned but other than that me and my Son are grateful to have our own place, finally. Oh one more thing we love the area, there is alot of businesses buy the apartment so it's really convenient for us.

Well for me I'm looking to move from Vallejo to Sacramento. When I went inside I didn't know if I was going to like it , I know nothing. About Sacramento. Soo was just riding around looking at apartments and when I got to Amber Grove I said ok before I head out I'm gonna check these apartments out. So I go inside the manager was very busy so I sat down and waited. When she approached me she was very nice I told her my situation filled out the application paid for the credit check. And within 30 mins I was leaving approved for an apartment. I don't know about anyone's else experience but for me it's been hard to get a place and I have good credit no evictions. I thank God for Ashley I was ready to give up all hope. I move in next week Wednesday and I can't wait she saved my life basically and I will always appreciate her for that So I give a big shot out to THE AMBER GROVE AND A HUGE SHOT OUT TO ASHLEY I TRULY APPRECIATE YOUR KINDNESS AND WARM WELCOMING YOUR DOING A GREAT JOB YOU CAN'T SATISFY EVERYONE.. THANKS AGAIN . VERONICA...... Well it's been about 2months since my last post and I moved to the AMBER GROVE APARTMENTS IN SACRAMENTO. SO FAR SO GOOD . for the management (ASHLEY) she's great still...my NEIGHBORS I CAN LIVE WITHOUT I had worst but I've also had plenty better. Very pleased with how quick the maintenance guy, (Arnold) tended to fixing a leak I had, then lending me a circulation fan to plug in and also his own personal stand up swamp cooler on wheels, to use just to get us through til the AC unit that was ordered for my place was delivered. Also didn’t hurt to watch maintenance work either cuz he is flipping gorgeous! Thank U Arnold 🔧🛴🛴🔨

Never have I ever come across a maintenance man as understanding, kind and willing to drop everything on his day off to help another, regardless if it's to fix a leak, change a lightbulb, or just help someone who's moving in with their furniture. I am so thankful I step foot inside the office at the Amber Grove Apartments. I’m moving from Vallejo and I don’t know too much of anything about Sacramento so I went in a little shy and skeptical ,. All that changed when their receptionist approached me she was so kind and warm hearted I felt like I known her forever she’s really good at her busy job. I will definitely tell anyone I know looking to rent go to the Amber Grove apartments in Sacramento exspecially if your looking for a great professional level headed atmosphere Amber Grove is the place for you. The manager is so good I am actually leaving a review I have been here for 4 years and it has been a bumpy road but I see greener pastures in the future of Amber Grove Apartments with the great foot forward start we are getting with our new management in place I hope to keep her I am very appreciative of her work and efforts at making Amber Grove feel like home.
